Obituary

 

James Eric Davis, 54, husband of Sherri Nibert Davis, died Thursday, February 16, 2012. He was born July 10, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Alice Ruth Davis of Ashland, Kentucky and the late James Benjamin Davis.

In addition to his wife and mother, James is survived by his sons, Joshua, Jacob and Andrew Davis; his brothers, Karsten, Adam and Edward Davis; and grandson, Wyatt Davis.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be 11 am-12 pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Todds Road Grace Church in Lexington, Kentucky, followed by a funeral service at 12pm. Burial will take place in Louisville, Kentucky.

Casketbearers will be Joshua, Jacob, Andy, Adam and Edward Davis.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a classmate and friend and will be missed by us all. God bless you Jim and your family. My deepest sympathy for your lost.

So very sad to hear of Jim's passing.  I'm sure it's a huge loss to Sheri and their sons and extended family.  Jim and I spent some good days hiking and caving in Carter Caves SP many a moon ago.  RIP Jim.

Jolinda Kimbrell (Conley)

Whenever I think of Jim Davis....during our high school days....I think of a big, red-headed guy with a loud, hearty laugh in Mr. Kinner's chemistry class. I also remember that jacket with all the fringe on it too! He was a super nice guy and I'll always remember him.,
