I was so sad to hear of another classmate - and cousin - gone too soon. I used to talk to Joe Ed occasionally on Facebook until he decided to leave it, and hadn't heard about the diagnosis of cancer until yesterday when I heard he was gone. Life is short - reach out to friends and family while you can. Rest well, Joe....

So sad to hear of Joe's passing. We were teammates on the original Bad News Bears little league team. We later worked together at Armco for a few years and when that ended because of layoffs, we both somehow ended up at Kentucky power company. We worked there together for 35 years. We had many, many conversations about all the things in life. We became very close and will miss his friendship. Rest easy my friend!!!!
