Loretta Layne, 66, of Ashland, Kentucky, died Monday morning, June 17th at her home while under hospice care. Loretta was born September 25, 1957 in Ashland, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Asa and Mertie Avery Layne. She is survived by 2 daughters; Michelle Layne of Grayson, Kentucky and Kathryn Layne of Ashland, Kentucky. A son in law; Scott Cecil. 3 brothers; David, Stephen, and Fred Layne. 6 grandchildren; Alyssa Alexander, Brandon (Gabby) Alexander, Christian (Kendal) Alexander, Alex Kidd, Caleb Kidd, Brianna Kidd. 5 great grandchildren; Ryker, Braxton, Amelia, Hudson, Adleigh Grace. Funeral services will be Monday, June 24th at 2:00 PM at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME by P.K. Sparks. Visitation is Monday from 1:00 PM until service time.
