This is unbelievable to me.  I literally ran into Jeff on Sunday, at Kohl's in Ashland.  He and I sat and spoke for about ten minutes.  He looked better than he has in years.  Said he was walking 5 miles a day and had lost 70 pounds.  His daughter was with him, and I got to meet her.

Jeff was a funny guy, and was very intelligent.  I'll miss him.

Thanks, Marcia.  This just keeps getting tougher for all of us, every year.  I remember all of us being immortal when we were young ... and in the end, it was fool's gold.  As painful as it is to lose a Libby Ritter, a Jeff Edmonds, or a Jeff Schaeffer, it really only reminds us of how lucky we all are to still have reunions and one more chance to catch up with each other.

What they're really saying is "I love you".    - Louis Armstrong

Sad for him to go so young. His picture reminds me again as to what a nice easy going person he was.
