Early on Monday, October 3, 2022, James J. (Jim) Prichard, Jr., beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep after an extended illness, age 65, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, OH.
Jim was born May 3, 1957 in Buffalo, NY to James J. and Sharon (Thomas) Prichard. Jim graduated from Paul G. Blazer High School in Ashland, KY (‘75), and the University of Louisville (’79 BA, ’82 JD), where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He worked with Davalow Dorlec for many years while living in Southern California before moving to New Richmond, OH in 2017.
Jim was a man of faith and professed his faith openly! He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Louisville Cardinals, the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. He took in many Angel’s games while in California. Jim had travelled widely. He loved to read, mostly about history, politics and sports.
James is preceded in death by his father, Jim and his mother, Sharon. Jim is survived by: his brother Watt Prichard, Watt’s wife Lorie and their children Joshua, Jessica, Emily and Matthew; and by his brother Thomas Prichard, Tom’s wife Heather and their daughter Sophia.
A memorial service will be organized, date and time to be determined.
