2018 could not have been more jam-packed with everything good! Not only did our youngest daughter, Megan, get married and our son, Justin & daughter-in-law have a baby but we also bought a new house! After 35 years of living on So. 29th St., Steve and I now live on Cogan St. in Midland Heights.

Those three years at Blazer were awesome! I'll always remember those great times with my JAM friends (Jill, Jan, Ann, and Michelle)!
It was fun being a Tomcat cheerleader for a year & a half. I tried out my sophomore yr. and didn't make it. (Debbie Barber & Sheila Mullins did). At that time, there were 6 cheerleader (2 from each grade). Towards the end of the football season, Cindy Sang was taken off the squad and I took her place. I had about 2 weeks between football & basketball season to learn all the cheers and sidelines. It was a crazy time!
I also remember running for Sr. Class Vice
President and losing to Mike Lunsford.
Going to the "F", hanging out with friends, spending lots of time at Ann Cunningham's house. Dances...Theta...Pep Club..hanging signs from the roof of the gym...being a gym aid...it was all great!

My all time favorite teacher was Mrs. Marting (6th gr. Crabbe). After all these years, we still stay in touch.
At Blazer, Frau Ori (10th gr. German) was a trip! I remember Mrs. Vincent (10th gr. Biology). Nice teacher but tough! Also Miss Britton (10th&11th grs.Gym class) She was always smiling and laughing.
Remember Miss Taylor, Geometry teacher?? That woman is STILL alive!!

It was a brown Chevy Malibu...no, I bought that after I graduated. I remember driving a Firebird in high school but having to share it with my brother. I remember taking my driver's test in a station wagon!

Phoenix, AZ. 1999 My daughter, Shannon, and I attended the New Year's Eve Millenium Concert by The Judd's.
Obviously I'm NOT a world traveler.

At the Continental Inn in Lexington, KY (Summer of 1972) I was in Lexington with my family to watch Steve Curnutte play in the East/West High School football game. A bunch of people from Ashland, including Steve, was also in Lexington to watch the game and we all stayed at the Continental Inn. After the game, everyone was at the hotel and there was Steve...in his Billy Jack hat. He looked so hot in that Billy Jack hat!! We talked for a long time that evening and it would be several months before we saw each again.

I was sure that I was going off to college to earn a bachelor's degree. Alas...plans change. An associate's degree from ACC was as far as I got.
But that's okay...everything's worked out just fine!

Probably "Stairway to Heaven"by Led Zeppelin. But I loved John Denver's music and Simon & Garfunkel. Also Three Dog Night, James Taylor, The Bee Gees, Neil Diamond and Jim Croce.

Impossible to say. I listen to "the oldies" on the radio everyday but I also like Josh Groban, Celine Dion, and Wynonna.

I agree with Jim Anderson....I'm waaayyy tooo young for a bucket list. Check back with me in about 20 years!!!

Since my retirement I have started researching my family tree. I am now in love with genealogy!!! I have learned so much. I feel like I'm just beginning my research. It is so interesting!
